Adirondack Autumn

The most beautiful season of the year is here stimulating all of five our senses.

The sight of beautifully colored trees, the smell of leaves and pumpkin candles, the feel of the chill in the air, the sounds of squirrels chirping making final preparations for the long winter, and of course the taste of apple cider.

(I have to admit, I didn't think there would be five when starting that sentence, but it truly hits all five senses!)
The leaves will all have fallen soon, but the autumn activities last throughout November.

And more!
Send us a message letting us know what you enjoy and we can share a list of great activities in the Adirondacks.
What's Up at the Itty Bitty Lil Homestead?
We are working hard to release the self-imposed stress of the world.
We are slowly...and I mean slowly...
building a teeny-tiny itty-bitty lil homestead next to The Adirondack Retreat.
Right now we have only ducks and micro-greens but are always looking for advice or help from those who know what they are doing. Our ducks enjoy one of their last swims in the small pond nearby The Adirondack Retreat.
While building the homestead I have learned my passion for wooden wick soy candles. They burn like a mini campfire and each have their own unique character. Each candle I have created connects to an Adirondack creature story of our past.
Rustic Soy Candles
This is the month I introduced a pumpkin-scent to our line:
Raccoon-Headed Pumpkin
Gene is not a fan of these intelligently destructive critters, but I cannot help but think they are simply adorable.
Walking through the pumpkin patch at dusk we spotted the masked bandit peak his head out of the hollowed out pumpkin.
We would love to hear your Adirondack story to inspire our next rustic soy candle. Please click the button below to share your story.
Congratulations to Jennifer of Rochester! The winner of our most recent contest last month. Jennifer will be receiving one of our new Raccoon-Headed Pumpkin rustic soy candles!
Make it a great autumn!
Shae
(& Gene of course)
